This year it is safe to say we all have had our ups and downs but the year 2020 is coming to a close. As we all say goodbye to the old year, we are excited to bring in the new year and of course, we are looking forward to the new sneaker releases in the near future. Here are the upcoming sneakers on our radar that we are most excited about for the 2021 year.

Set to release in April 2021, the red suede pair from 2009’s Jordan 5 “Defining Moments” pack in all its bright red suede glory dons “23” embroidered heels, reflective tongues, black detailing, and red laces, drawing inspiration from the “Toro Bravo” Pack in 2009.
Air Jordan 4 Taupe Haze

Releasing in early 2021, the Air Jordan 4 Taupe Haze is already one of the most anticipated drops of the year. The titular brown hue is seen in the wear-away uppers, along with suede underlays and jet black/white sail accents. The Taupe Haze drop will capitalize on the popular “tear-away” feature in its uppers, which will allow wearers to let their creative flags fly while discovering a hidden design underneath. The Air Jordan 4 Taupe Haze is currently set to release on January 28th, 2021.
Air Jordan 6 Carmine’s Rerelease

2021 marks the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 6; to celebrate, Nike is re-releasing the original “Carmine” Air Jordan 6. This colorway was first released in 1991 and made waves as the first Jordan to feature colored panels on the upper. The 2021 rerelease will look exactly like the original 1991 version did; you can expect to see the same coloring, silhouette, height, and branding. Look for the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” rerelease on February 13th at select retailers and online.

Based in a Hyper Royal, light smoke grey, and white color scheme, teaser looks have the Hyper Royal AJ1 scheduled for Spring 2021. A grey swoosh and white midsole with Hyper Royal accents shows the mockup as a new take on a classic, while we still have yet to confirm final designs for its May launch.
Air Jordan 3 Georgetown

One of the first new shoes to launch next year, the “Georgetown” silhouette features a tumbled leather in dark navy with Cement Print overlays. Based on the Georgetown flag, the influence on sneaker culture that Georgetown itself has attributed to many sneakers like the Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 “NCAA Pack”, they are producing a more mass available style and sneaker.
Air Jordan 5 Stealth

The new year isn’t all about new shoes. Throwing it back to 2006 during the Air Jordan 5’s first re-insertion into the Retro market, this “Stealth” colorway was noted for its all-white genuine leather foundation with an OG silver tongue and blue splatter finish. The March re-drop of these sneakers will be almost identical to the original, with a toggle lacing system and inner lining details.
Yeezy 380 Yecoraite

One of the first shoes of the new year, January 2021 features Kanye’s “Yecorite” colorway with a digital camo print in light brown, gray, and ivory tones. One thing different about these shoes is the previously unused sole combination, along with a cream-colored, translucent midsole set in a gum trend.

Set as the golden child of Adidas, this spring will be a big one for Adidas as they plan to release a 3-pack series of their beloved Yeezy 350 V2s. First on the release radar in February is the first of the pack, the “Ash Blue” colorway. The black and grey-based pair with a striking pop of color in the yellow midfoot shows Kanye’s return to color in his designs.

Second in the Adidas Yeezy 350 V2 2021 pack lineup is the lighter, more gentle toned “Cream” sneakers called the ash pearl. Reminiscent of February’s “Flax” release, the shoe highlights tan and light ivory contrasted with hints of grey mesh and a translucent Boost bottom.

Last but not least the “Ash Stone” is set to release the following month in March of 2021, with nods to a similar palette to December’s YEEZY 350 v2 “Sand Taupe”. The browns and tans of the shoe are weaved throughout, with the upper covered completely in dark chocolate, while the rest of the mixes dark brown twill through a light tan base and a muted orange midsole stripe to round out the sneaker.
