The Air Jordan 1 KO “Storm Blue” Hits Shelves Tomorrow September 29th
- by Chazz Demaria
- Release date: September 29th, 2021
After a successful re-release earlier in 2021, the Air Jordan 1 KO is now an indispensable part of the favored Jumpman’s line-up. In terms of the colorway, the upcoming sneaker greatly resembles the “Chicago” design. The only difference is that instead of red, the canvas overlays (collar, eye stay, and toe cap) are colored in blue as seen below. The Swoosh, logos, and laces are in deep black, and the overall detailing on the exterior offers the comfort and style of AJKO’s signature fabrication.
The “Storm Blue” sections of the forefront, ankle flaps, and mid-foot overlays are largely accentuated by the base of the sneaker that’s filled in white to make the blue really pop. The upper halves of the upcoming Air Jordans are a nod to the original model from 1986, which is what fans had really been hoping for. The lower section offers crisp midsoles and treading colored in white. Much like its brother “Chicago,” the new “Storm Blue” promises superb performance and comfort.
