Adidas goes laceless! with ultraboost dna Slip Ons
- by Chazz Demaria
- Release date: January 1, 2020 (3 AM est)
Adidas always keeps comfort in mind, and it shows with many previous releases, such as the Yeezy line or the iconic NMD model. These two models cannot be discussed without mentioning the Adidas “Ultra Boost” in terms of comfortability.
Adidas has officially announced a slightly different Utraboost version we are used to seeing. This fan-favorite silhouette will now come in a slip-on version as well! Many ultra boost fans are excited to add yet another reason why they feel the ultra boost is far superior in terms of comfort and convenience to previous Adidas models.
The slip-on addition which we have seen in similar sneakers such as the iconic skateboarding brand “Vans” is excellent for every day on the go usage considering no lacing of any kind is needed. Material wise, we see prime blue, which is essentially parley plastic ocean recycled materials paired with textile upper sections. The midsole is where the “Adidas Boost” magic happens, and the sneaker achieves maximum comfortability. Keep in mind this is the same midsole found in the original Ultra Boost models as well. The official release date will be Friday, January 1st at 3 am est for a set retail price of $180.00 with 4 total colorways to choose from.
