Adidas has unveiled its recent addition to the Star Wars collection, celebrating the 40th anniversary of “The Empire Strikes Back” with its Ultraboost line reboot. This new design for the Adidas Ultraboost DNA has been released in the patent colors “Core Black” and “Glory Mint.” Consistent with previous designs in the Ultraboost line, the upper is made with durable Primeknit material and is closed by pastel yellow laces. The signature Three Stripes line the sides of the upper. Splashed prominently against the stark black upper are accent colors in mint green, royal blue, and pastel yellow. The heel is in royal blue and bears the Ultraboost emblem. The Adidas logo is displayed proudly in yellow on the tongue. Its white midsole and black rubber outsole are very responsive and are made with Adidas’ trademark Torsion System. This technology enhances the traction and stability of the shoe. It efficiently boosts the return of energy as the soles hit the ground.

The retail price for Adidas Ultraboost DNA in “Core Black” and “Glory Mint” is at $180. However, the release date in the US is still pending an announcement. The design has already been made available in Europe at £159.95.
