The crazy-creative Japanese brand atmos recently collaborated with Adidas to put a whimsical spin on the ZX 800. As consistently expected of the brand, atmos certainly delivered proudly on this promise with the atmos x Adidas Wild & Hairy ZX 8000, with the nickname “G-SNK.”

The atmos x Adidas Wild & Hairy ZX 8000 “G-SNK” comes in a loud and bizarre blend of materials splashed in vibrant yellow and green hues. The model’s bright color scheme is dominated by shades of flashy yellow, neon green, and vivid dark green set. These loud colors are set in stark contrast against black accents, fittings, and shoelaces. Its material construction is a bold, unusual mix of pony hair, glow-in-the-dark synthetic snakeskin, and leather. Both logos of atmos and Adidas are displayed prominently on the bright hairy tongues of the shoes. The signature Three Stripes is splayed across the side profile and subtly on the model’s tip.

The atmos x Adidas Wild & Hairy ZX 8000 “G-SNK” was released to the global market on August 28, 2020. It initially debuted in May of this year. A limited number of pairs were made available for purchase exclusively in Japan.
