While Jordan Brand usually releases its Air Jordans with Chinese themes around Chinese New Year, the Air Jordan 7 GC China appears to veer away from that norm.

Believed to be a Greater China exclusive — hence the GC tag — from the Jordan Brand’s collection for September 12, 2020, the Air Jordan 7 release date is on September 12 for a retail price of $200. It will release at select Greater China retailers and on Nike.com.

The Air Jordan 7 GC China is made in an official color scheme that is listed as White, Chile Red, Black, and Metallic Gold. The upper is made of black nubuck that has a glazed tonal dragon design seen on the lateral side. A similar design pattern is also placed on the white overlay, which is made of tumbled leather. The red nubuck seen around the lateral collar is finished off with a metallic gold embroidered Jumpman logo.

Another aspect of the shoe’s design is the medial side is covered in traditional Chinese colorful artwork on the underlay with soft black leather overlays. And finally, Chinese Kanji are seen on the tongues and heels and glow in the dark outsoles finish off this shoe’s look.
