I’m sure that we can all agree we are happy for 2020 to come to an end, hoping that 2021 will be a brighter and more comfortable year than the one we are leaving behind. At least as of now, we know that Adidas is kicking off 2021 the right way, with ten sneaker releases on January 1st. There is a combination of new colorways for existing styles and even a brand new silhouette being introduced to the market.
The shoes with new colorways are D Rose 11, D.O.N. Issue #2, Dame 7, Ultraboost 4.0 DNA, and ZX 2K Boost.
The new colorways for the D rose, and D.O.N Issue #2 have a similar look. Both shoes will have a black base and colorful patterns in red, orange, and purple on the midsole and tongue area. One main difference is the gold zigzag pattern on the D.O.N. Issue #2. The colorway for the Dame 7 is much more subtle, with a creamy white and beige base accented with Solar Red on the heel, tongue, and midsole near the rear quarter. The Dame 7 also has a Solar Red and Cream White patterned outsole. The Ultraboost 4.0 DNA, made with recycled materials featuring a Boost midsole, comes out in a clean Core Black and Dash Grey colorway with accents of Screaming orange on the rear quarter and tongue. Adidas kept it simple with the ZX 2K Boost colorways by releasing a simple white or black option with textile uppers and molded overlays instead of the regular mesh upper.
And that’s was not even the tip of the iceberg. There is also a brand new Ultraboost style hitting the market on January 1st, 2020, the Ultraboost Slip-On DNA. These new slip-on Ultraboosts have a slightly similar look to the HU NMD, except instead of laces, they have an elastic X strap, plus the midsole and sock liner styles are different. This style is releasing in 4 different colors Orchid Tint, Core Black with leopard print midsole, Cloud White, and Core Black/Cloud White/Hazy Sky (blue).
