Nike Air Max is celebrating its 30th anniversary on March 26th.  One of the anticipated releases for 2021 Air Max day is the Air Max 90 “Bacon” re-release. This pair was originally released in 2004 in collaboration with Dave’s Quality Meat, a New York City sneaker boutique.  The current resale price on the original release Air Max 90 “Bacon” is around $900, so picking up a new pair at retail would be a definite win.

The colorway on these kicks is Sail/Sheen/Straw/Medium Brown/Red, and as the name implies,

they are meant to resemble a slice of bacon.  The idea for this colorway came to be when the once owner of Dave’s Quality Meat, Dave Ortiz, was starving and decided to order a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich.  He decided that “everybody loves bacon,” and history was made.

These kicks will be available via Nike SNKRS on Friday, March 26th, for $140.
