Tie Dye Kicks for Your Inner Hippie

Tie dye is a timeless trend that just never stops. Whether it’s t-shirts, sweatshirts, socks and even sneakers, it’s an aesthetic that is beloved in nearly all its manifestations. Nothing beats comfortable and stylish sneakers as it allows you to cozily go about your business while also inserting some personality into your look.
Here are a few great examples of tie dye sneakers:
1) Twisted Vacation Chuck Taylor All Star
What’s not to love about the summertime? With the sunshine on your face, fresh air and open windows, late night bonfires and great conversations with your favorite people, you should have a shoe to match all these fun activities. Fortunately, tie dye brings those endless summer vibes all year long. When you’re feeling free, reach for the Twisted Vacation Chuck Taylor All Star, which is a low-top polyester-canvas sneakers that is splashed with a tie dye design all over. 2) Vans “Tie Dye” Pack
Vans comes through with this selection of colorful sneakers, utilizing tie-dye print on some of its most beloved silhouettes. Sneakerheads can take their pick from the brand’s most beloved silhouettes such as the Authentic, Era, Slip-On, Old Skool and Ski-Hi, which are all done up in multicolored schemes, highlighted with tie-dye. The sneakers then feature their respective signature design elements, including Vans’ notable waffle outsole.
3) Nice Kicks & Adidas Consortium UltraBOOST
The Adidas UltraBOOST has been reworked to tell the story of the famed Woodstock Festival. The design features a tie-dye spiral upper, semi-translucent cages, and a gum sole that alludes to Adidas’s first collaboration project on the NMD R1. The sneaker also features white boost midsoles with Nice Kicks and Woodstock co-branding found on both shoes’ tongues. The shoe was created in honor of the epic music festival that overtook Bethel, New York, in the summer of 1969.
4) Nike’s “Peace, Love, And Golf” Tie-Dye Collection
Nike has the “Peace, Love, And Golf” collection, which is inspired by the vibrancy of the city of San Francisco and its historical importance to the hippie movement. Five different models will feature the tie dye design — the Zoom Victory Tour, Zoom Infinity Tour, Roshe Tour, Air Max 97 G, and Jordan 5 Low G. These are all splashed in a spirited tie-dye pattern on specific portions of the upper, boldly represented the cultural impact of the 1960s. Nike offered members early access to all the models except the Air Jordan 5 last August. A standard launch took place on August 6, while the Air Jordan 5 Golf had its own release on August 7.
5) Air Jordan 1 High OG Women’s “Tie-Dye”
This Air Jordan 1 High OG “Tie-Dye” is a women’s exclusive release is dressed in a unique white, black, and aurora green color palette. This Air Jordan 1 has white leather on the sides with black leather covering the toe, Swoosh logos, and ankle collar. Serving as a highlight to the shoe are the tie-dye overlays complemented by a white midsole and black rubber outsole.
