The details have officially been confirmed for the Nike Kobe 6 Protro All-Star sneakers. Kobe Bryant’s signature basketball line is expanding and receiving the Protro treatment. The Challenge Red, Black, and White sneakers are expected to drop in early 2021. The color scheme is going to resemble the original All-Star colorway.
Re-Issued Kobe Models
The Kobe Protro series released in 2018 and since then, the brand has decided to reissue a selection of sneaker models, including the Kobe 1, Kobe 4, and Kobe 5. However, there is new modern technology in place now.
The Details on the Kobe 6 Protros
The new Kobe 6 Protro All-Star sneakers will be similar to the original All-Star Kobe 6s that dropped in 2011. They paid tribute to the signature team colors of the West with Red and Black colors all around the sneaker. There is a classic snakeskin texture on the upper and white Nike swooshes on the sides. The midsole matches the swoosh while the outsole has a translucent design. Of course, the sneakers also have Kobe’s signature on the heel. The official release date for the Nike Kobe 6 Protro All-Star is March 15th. They’ll be available for purchase through select retailers, including StockX, for a retail price of $180.
