Nike is well-known for releasing quite a few items with polka dot print over the years, and now the pattern is used once more. This time, it’s on the new Air Max 90s. The Air Max 90 Polka Collection consists of two sneakers that are dressed in similar color schemes. One is a Summit White, White, Grey Fog, and Black while the other consists of Shimmer, Sail, Desert Sand, and Pale Ivory. The construction of the Air Max 90 is standard, a combination of mesh, suede, and leather with canvas mudguards. The sneakers have semi-translucent finishes, which is what makes them stand out as the polka dots that cover the majority of the sneaker. The tongue of both sneakers features a Venn-diagram-like design for the Nike logo, which is different from the standard logo.
Release Details on the Air Max 90 Polka Collection
Although part of a pack, the Air Max 90 Polka Collection will be sold individually as separate sneakers. Both pairs were released on July 08th. The “White Polka” and the “Shimmer Polka” were available for purchase through the Nike SNKRS app, Nike.com, and select retailers. The retail price of the Air Max 90 Polka Collection was $150.
