A collab between the Chicago-based retailer, Notre, and Nike brought sneakerheads the Dunk High x Notre Midnight Navy. Notre has established the future of style in Chicago by focusing on serving its surrounding community with culture, commerce, and cause. Their collab with Nike is an industrial spin on Nike’s classic Dunk High sneakers.

Notre is a company that was founded in Chicago in 2014. Most of the Notre team has family that is part of the industrial history of the midwest. Due to this, the team has shared their memories of clothing that is tied to their parents’ work uniforms. This is what inspired the look of the sneakers as they celebrate the look and feel of those garments, along with the spirit that they evoke.

Materials Used in the Dunk High x Notre Midnight Navy

The Dunk High x Notre Midnight Navy features different shades of midnight navy and sky grey. There is a shaggy suede material that gives off a natural finish to the color variances as well as a unique look. The sneakers also have triple stitching and even a Notre patch on the left tongue. Aside from this, there is also asymmetrical color blocking on the Swoosh. The Dunk High x Notre Midnight Navy was released on January 21st through Notre and on January 23rd through the Nike SNKRS app.
