Collegiate color schemes and the adidas Ultra Boost are far from foreign to each other. In fact, when the silhouette was once at the top of the ranks back in the 2015-2016 era, it was colorways such as the somewhat-rare Miami Ultra Boost and ASU Ultra Boost variations that spawned a measurable amount of excitement and momentum. Fast-forward four years later, the Three Stripes is now set to revisit this NCAA stylization, this time for a capsule of eight new offerings.
The German-based imprint taps into some of their most storied university athletic programs by utilizing the more-popular Ultra Boost 1.0 model and forming it to match that of Miami, Washington, Texas A&M, Arizona State, Kansas, Nebraska, Indiana, and Louisville’s school colors. Each comes packaged with interchangeable patches relevant to each institution’s logos and mascots, as well as a duo of traditional stripe logos that are meant to decorate atop the velcro tongues.
