Reebok teams up with popular YouTube series “Hot Ones”

Reebok has done an outstanding job setting itself apart from most of the other sneaker brands we have seen on the market, and some models are hotter than others in terms of popularity. Many fans are incredibly excited to see an official collaboration with the heat masters themselves, “Hot Ones.” Hot ones is a Youtube series presented by “First We Feast” with many big-name celebrities such as actors or athletes eating extremely spicy buffalo wings while being interviewed. This is the first time Reebok has collaborated with a Youtube channel since its existence in 1958.
These sneakers do a great job of setting themselves apart from other releases in many ways. Starting with the custom-designed box, we see hot wings scattered across the shoe box with glasses of milk, known for reducing heat from spicy foods. On the side panels of the box, we see a heat level index that many spice enthusiasts also use to show the food’s heat index.
The colors used in the sneaker are a cake batter-colored sole paired with a bright “fruit punch-like” red upper combined with a pink midsole and black accents on the rear heel and the tongue. Flames can be seen on the lace eyelids and the “Hot Ones” logo attached on the back heel. We also can see a Scoville level indicator embedded below the laces on the tongue of the sneaker which can be seen below. This indicator is actually used in the youtube series to show the audience the heat level the guest is currently eating. The insoles graphic is very closely similar to the graphics used on the sneakers box.
