Nike’s Kyrie 7: It’s Official, and Here’s What to Expect
- by Nick Demaria
- Release date: November 11, 2020
Many are taking advantage of the COVID quarantine and losing weight. The same goes for the new Kyrie 7, as this is the lightest Nike shoe to be released this year. The mega sportswear brand introduced the sneakers on October 26, and it will be officially released next month.
The Kyrie 7 to be released on November 11!
The new Kyrie 7 are made to meet Kyrie Irving’s demands as his spontaneous playing requires a particular style. This is why the shoes feature a lightweight mesh upper, data-informed traction for enhanced grip, 2 TPU fingers at the forefoot for a secure fit, an articulated Nike Air Zoom Turbo unit in the forefoot, as well as Irving iconography.
4 “Preheat” Colorways – $140 for Each Pair
Nike will release the 4 styles on November 11 in a mystery box style as the buyers won’t know which of the four pairs they have received until they unbox it. The styles include:
● Special FX – because of Irving’s love for filmmaking.
● Expressions – this draws inspiration from the baller’s love for art.
● Icon of Sport – nodding to the sportiest list of “hoop influencers”.
● Soundwave – inspired by Irving Kyrie’s love for music and “how the vibrations influence his game.”
2 More Kyrie 7 Styles to Release as Well
Following the “Preheat” collection, Kyrie 7 “Sisterhood” will be released on November 14. This style is created to empower female athletes worldwide. Fans can also expect the “BK Black” celebrating Irving’s Brooklyn home court to arrive on November 16 for Nike Members exclusively, and then on November 23 for everyone else. Both the Sisterhood and BK Black will sell at $130.
