This SB Dunk Low comes with an interesting backstory. The Pink and Red style of these Nike skate shoes is a tribute to a pork inspired Porsche, named the “Pink Pig”, that raced in the 1971, 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the world’s oldest active sports car race in endurance racing.

This race has been held annually since 1923 near Le Mans, France.

This shoe’s style is quite simple, featuring an entirely pink suede upper accented with red stitching and red letters on the tongue tag.

The midsole is White, and the outsole is Black, possibly representing the racing number colors on the original “Pink Pig” racecar.
