The Jordan Brand announced a release of the new Air Jordan 1 kicks: the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom SH. The new iconic Jordan 1 pair joins the “Space Hippie” collection, along with the “Air Force 1” and “Blazer Mid” sneakers, that promote sustainability by using recycled materials in the making of the sneakers. The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom SH is one of the newest addition to the eco-friendly bunch, consisting of recycled Nike waste materials.

Moreover, let’s take a closer look at the sneaker’s details. The sneaker’s base is assembled for the faded black canvas build and its “Flash Crimson” stitching that goes from the shoe’s heel and tongue as well as the lace tips and footbed. The sneaker’s interior foam gives off an aesthetic near the “Off-White x Air Jordan 1”. The Air Jordan 1 “Move to Zero” also features the Crater Foam, which is a blend of recycled Nike foams that has about 12% Nike Grind rubber from waste.

With the new 2020 releases, this isn’t the first time the brand decides to launch new sneakers for the “Move to Zero” campaign. This is quite similar to the Space Hippie collection, one of which was the Nike Jordan Crater and Jordan Crater slides. The “Move to Zero” campaign continues its initiative of aiming to produce zero waste and zero carbon Nike products in their collection.

As of now, the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom SH is set to premiere overseas on Nike and Footlocker sites on August 12, 2020. Retail price is $175
