Nike and Gatorade Cross Paths Once Again

Nike and Gatorade Cross Paths Once Again

Paul George has teamed up with Gatorade and Nike Basketball to feature a “Gx White” colorway theme. This indicates the upcoming fourth Gatorade-themed version of the Los Angeles Clippers’ forward’s new signature sneaker. The new pair followed the addition of NBA 2K20-exclusive Orange Gx, Grape Gx, and Barely Volt / Total Orange as part of Nike’s NBA All-Star Weekend kicks.

As yet another tangy colorway circulates online, Paul George and Gatorade’s continued partnership will start with the new release of NikePG4 x Gatorade this July 2020.

Sneaker Design

George took a noted change from his early strap-affixed, multipaneled silhouettes for his fourth signature style. He instead opted for a zipper-coated, streamlined silhouette. In collaboration with Nike, PG4 x Gatorade’sopen canvas design has created loud graphic splashes.

This Nike’s PG4 x Gatorade takes influence from the revolutionary sports fueling device that is Gatorade Gx, and the bright orange hue associated with the Gatorade brand.

The pair displays vivid orange, white, and yellow highlights on the upper, which is enhanced by sheer mesh shells.

Contrasting blue eyelets can also be seen, followed by Gatorade-branded insoles and an Air Strobel-cushioned midsole.

It also features a similar color scheme to the version dropped for this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend. “GX” branding written on the insole shows that this version is, in reality, a successful Gatorade collab.
