Fragment’s Hiroshi Fujiwara and Chitose Abe from Sacai have done collaborations quite a few times in the past. This includes collaborations together and with Nike. Now, they’re revisiting the LDWaffle and collaborating on the Waffle Daybreak and the LDV, two iconic silhouettes. The LdWaffle x Sacai x Fragment Sneakers mixes a few signature features from both iconic brands to form a single sneaker. These features include double tongues, the shoelaces, and the Nike Swooshes blending with the logo which gives the sneaker a clean and sleek look overall.

LdWaffle x Sacai x Fragment Design Details

Taking a look at the design details it appears the upper is made up of a shade of light grey mesh and premium suede material. More specifically, the shade is called Light Smoke Grey. Fujiwara chose this to create a look that is both bold and understated which is what a lot of sneakerheads love about the Sacai models. On the sole of the sneaker, you’ll find the words “The Classic/fragment: Sacai,” which is a signature touch for the collaboration.
