Scooby-Doo and The Gang have been loved by fans of all ages since 1969. Starting off as Scooby-Doo Where Are You! On CBS from 1969-1974, this series evolved into numerous spin-offs. Eventually, they made it into movie theatres as a live-action film.
With so much popularity, it is evident that brands want to collaborate and have these characters displayed on their products. The latest collaboration is with Converse and includes 7 sneaker designs and 3 tee shirts and a hoodie. We will go into detail here and you can also see them all on the Converse website.
There are 7 Converse x Scooby-Doo designs in total, 5 designs available for adults, 3 for kids, and 3 for toddlers.
Converse X Scooby Doo Chuck Taylor All Star – Good Guys & Bad Guys
The classic theme of Scooby-Doo is good guys trying to catch the bad guys (and also running away from the bad guys in most cases). Following this theme, Converse made a pair of Chuck Taylor All Stars with Shaggy and Scoob on one side and monsters on the other side. Both shoes have Shaggy and Scooby being scared as usual on the outer sides near the heel. On the inner side of the right shoe, you will see the Ghost Clown, the Wolfman, and the Sea Captain.
On the inner side of the Left shoe is Frankenstein’s Monster, the Sea Demon, and the Green Ghost. There is also a cool Scooby-Doo dog tag on the laces of this pair. Retail is $65.
Converse x Scooby-Doo Chuck Taylor All Star – Glow in the Dark
This Glow In The Dark pair of Converse x Scooby-Doo shows the gang in the Mystery Machine, Shaggy and Scooby running from monsters, silhouettes of those monsters, and phrases from the show such as “Yikes”, “Ruh-Roh, and “Zoinks”. When you turn out the lights, all you will see is the eyes of the monsters and the phrases glowing in green. This pair also has an SD dog tag and retails for $65
Converse x Scooby-Doo Chuck 70 – Mystery Machine
Let’s face it, there was a time in most of our lives when we wished the Mystery Machine was our car.
With its bright colors and 70’s designs, it is definitely an eye-catcher. Well, now you can have your own mystery machines, on your feet. With the same fresh colors and hippie flowers as the original Mystery Machine, these kicks are sure to get some attention. Retail is $110
Converse x Scooby-Doo Chuck 70 – Scooby and The Gang
Looking at this Chuck 70 from one side, you would think they are the originals. But, on the other side, you will see Scooby and The Gang peeking over the midsole. Another cool addition is that one of the Converse heel tags is changed to a license plate with the number “SCBYSNK”. At first glance, you may think that these also glow in the dark, but they are just clean black and white. Retail is $100.
Converse x Scooby-Doo Chuck Taylor All Star – Scooby and The Gang
This Low Top Chuck Taylor All Star has a similar design to the Chuck 70 – Scooby and The Gang. The gang is peeking over the midsole just like the Chuck 70s, but this time they are in full color. They come complete with an SD dog tag. Retail is $60.
Kid Size Kicks
Of course, Kids love Scooby-Doo just as much as adults. So, converse made 2 pairs for little kids and one for big kids sizes. The big kids design is a lot like the Good Guys, and Bad Guys adult shoe, except it doesn’t have any monsters. The little kids’ size designs are the Glow In The Dark, and the Scooby and The Gang Chuck Taylor All-Stars. Kids Shoes retail for $40-$45.
Unlike kids sizes, toddlers got their own unique Scooby-Doo designs.
Converse x Scooby-Doo Easy On Chuck Taylor all Star – Mystery Machine
This one is similar to the adult mystery machine with its bright colors and designs. The difference comes in with wheels on the midsole making the shoe look more like the actual van, and straps that say “The Mystery Machine”. Retail is $40
Converse x Scooby-Doo Easy On Chuck Taylor All Star – Scooby
These Easy On Chuck Taylor All Stars are designed to look like Scooby-Doo with a brown and black print and blue strap resembling a collar. Retail is $40.
Converse x Scooby-Doo easy on Chuck Taylor All Star – Scared Shaggy and Scooby
This design is just like the kids version of the Good Guys and Bad Guys Shoe showing a scared Scooby and Shaggy minus the scary monsters, so your toddler’s shoes don’t give them nightmares.
The Tees and Hoodie
Technically there are 2 tee shirt designs but one design comes in mystery machine green or white.
The Ruh-Roh! Tee comes in white and a green very similar to the Mystery Machine’s color. On the front, you will see a freaked-out shaggy silhouette with “Converse” written below in Glow in the dark letters. On the back of the shirt is a large silhouette of a freaked-out Scooby-Doo with a large Glow in the dark Ruh-Roh! Over his head. There is also an embroidered converse logo on the sleeve. Retail is $35
Meddling Kids! Tee
Most of the criminals in the Scooby-Doo universe would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for “Those Meddling Kids”. On the back of this Machine Green tee shirt, you will see “Those Meddling Kids” in black and white, hanging out of the Mystery Machine celebrating catching another criminal.
Above them are the words “Those Meddling Kids”. On the front of this tee, there is a chest pocket with a black, white, and orange Mystery Machine. Retail is $35
This all-black hoodie comes complete with Glow in the dark drawstrings and text. On the chest, there is a full color scared Scooby-Doo and Shaggy, and on the back are 21 of the classic monsters with “Rut-Roh!” written above them. He left sleeve says Converse in glow text. Retail is $80
Even though this line just recently launched, every item is already sold out on the Converse website.
