The Jordan Brand announced a fresh look for the Air Jordan 3 called “Blue Cement”. The iconic pair flips the colorway of the all-time classic Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement,” which was released back in 2018. The “Blue Cement” puts a change in the signature accent by exhibiting a vivid sporty blue instead of a black base from the former model.

Moreover, even with the sneaker’s new colorway, the blue tumbled leather remains whole along with the complementary perforated grey leather. The sneaker’s tongue is smooth grey leather with a blue Jumpman. The Air Jordan 3 “Blue Cement” also features Tinker Hatfield’s notable elephant print. The elephant print debuted in the older model of the AJ3s back in 1988. Elephant print is on the sneaker’s heel and toe.

The Jumpman logo brings out the sneaker’s branding stamped atop of its tongue. At the same time, a white Air Jordan print sits on its heel. With the new 2020 releases, this isn’t the first time the brand decides to launch new kicks that come from the inspiration of the “Black Cement”: one of which was the Nike Air Jordan 3 “UNC.” A sneaker dedicated to the athletes of the University of North Carolina launched following the Jumpman’s NBA All-Star Weekend releases.

The Air Jordan 3 “Blue Cement” is set to be released overseas on Nike and Footlocker sites. The release date is set for the 25th of June at $190.
