Adidas is Taking Action

In the last month, Adidas has launched a reusable face mask in an effort to take initiative as COVID 19 rampantly spreads all over the world. Face Cover, as Adidas branded it, is certainly an environment-friendly product. The masks are reusable and also made out of recycled fabric and is virgin plastic-free. The masks are made from 93% recycled polyester and 7% elastane.

This washable, tight-fitting, and breathable face mask is available in small and large sizes so it is perfect for both adults and kids, but ideally not for children aged lower than 12.

Proceeds for Charity

Currently, Face Cover is available in North America, Europe, and China. You can buy a pack of 3 for $16.  For each 3 pack sold, Adidas will donate $2 Save The Children’s Global Coronavirus Response Fund. So, by purchasing Face Cover, you are not only protecting yourself but also helping others.

Adidas has made sure that their reusable face mask is not only designed for protection but for comfort and style, as well. It does not hurt your ears even if you wear it all day long, it extends up to the middle of your nose, has two layers of fabric, and the Adidas logo is printed fashionably on one side of the mask. It also comes in the color black so it effortlessly goes with any outfit.

Since the Face Cover is reusable, it is recommended to machine wash the mask at 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

Face Cover is just a part of #hometeam, a movement that Adidas has initiated in response to COVID19 widespread. Along with this initiative are the face shields that the brand has created specifically for the US healthcare workers.

The product is currently marked as sold out as per Adidas’ official website but a restock is definitely expected soon.
